The OSSFE 2026 Conference (Open Source Software for Fusion Energy) took place from March 10th to 12th, 2026, at the Munich Urban Colab in Munich, Germany. Following a successful inaugural online event in 2025, this 2026 gathering served as the first major in-person hub for the global fusion software community. Hosted in partnership with local fusion start ups like Proxima Fusion, the conference brought together a unique mix of academic researchers, industry developers and policy experts from across the world.
