I am an Afghan woman and a Farsi speaker with an educational background in Business Administration (BBA). The Peshgam Institute of Higher Education gave me a degree in 2015. I possess over 10 years of strategic management and managerial-administrative experience at senior executive levels. I am keen on advancing my skills at a new organisation and to add value to the team.
Previously, I have worked with various international organisations in Afghanistan – the last one was the British Council in the exams department for three years.
For security reasons, the British Council moved its staff from Afghanistan and I arrived in the UK in July 2021 through the Afghan Relocation Assistant Policy (ARAP) Scheme.
I have recently started working as a Clerical Officer at the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Bangor University. I have found the staff collaborative and enjoy being part of this entity where there is growth and can build upon my career.
