Computer-Based Research Technician
Alex Malone joined the university in 2018, completing a degree in Computer Science (BSc) before going on to complete his Masters in Advanced Computer Science (MSc) in 2022.
Before working with the Nuclear Futures department, he would work commonly on coding projects, building computers and being a avid user of computers. He would regularly design electronics for projects, and coming up with solutions in a unique fashion.
Working for the NFI, he will be in charge of developing the IT infrastructure and helping to maintain the departments. While working for us, he will be in tandem with the technicians for lab work and Bangor University Digital Services. The main purposes will be to maintain the systems, developing new solutions to better streamline processes.
He will liaison regularly with the University, Staff in the department and the other students.
