Through public lectures, community events, workshops, and partnerships with educators, we aim to make complex research approachable and relevant. Ever wondered how we’ll power the world without costing the Earth? At the Nuclear Futures Institute (NFI), we aren’t just theorising about the future—we’re building it.
We are inviting ambitious secondary school students to step inside our state-of-the-art facilities at Bangor University for a week of high-energy discovery. From the mechanics of Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) to the materials that can withstand the heart of a sun, come see why nuclear is the backbone of a Net Zero world.
