Dr. Anita Crompton
Postdoctoral Research Associate in Co-Generation
Bio
Dr Anita Crompton was appointed as Postdoctoral Research Associate in Nuclear Co-generation in May 2021. Her role at Bangor University will be to research nuclear co-generation and how its implementation can help the UK to become carbon neutral.
Anita completed her PhD at Lancaster University in 2019, for which she designed and built a stand-off alpha radiation detector capable of operating in daylight conditions. She also has a MEng in Mechatronic Engineering from Lancaster University. She has previously worked as an EC&I engineer in the nuclear sector, and as a Nucleonics Lead designing specialist measurement equipment for the oil and gas sector.
