First Year PhD and MscRes Conference

On the 21^st January 2025, the School of Computer Science and Engineering held its first years PhD and MScRes conference. This conference had students talk about their research questions, the background of their work and their plan of research.

Students from computer science and the Nuclear Futures Institute participated in the conference. Representatives from the NFI were Tom Scott, David Williams, Jacob Taylor, Olatunde Michael Oni, Keane Halls, and Edward Harris. Students had 10 minutes to talk about their projects, with audience members asking questions afterwards. The NFI would like to extend a massive thank you to the members participating, and on their well presented presentations.

The conference was organised and chaired by Dr William Teehan.
