I recently attended the 50th International Conference and Expo on Advanced Ceramics and Composites (ICACC), held in Daytona Beach, Florida. During the conference, I presented my research on the additive manufacturing of lithium ceramics as part of the LIBRTI programme, funded by the UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA). The presentation attracted significant interest, both in the research outcomes and in potential future collaborations.
The conference was an excellent opportunity to reconnect with colleagues and establish new professional relationships, as well as to gain inspiration from adjacent research fields. Exchanging ideas across disciplines highlighted the value of collaborative research and the importance of sharing knowledge to drive innovation.
