PhD Project-
Potential Material Production signatures of HALEU Fuel
Sponsor- AWE/NTR-Net
Cameron started a degree in zoology in 2021 but changed his course and graduated with first honours in computer science in 2025. His dissertation project introduced a new program to assist atomistic computational simulations. He further went on to complete a pilot project with the NTR-Net which studied the possibility of Raman Spectra obtained using simulations. He is now looking at both computational and experimental work to explore HALEU fuel enrichment working within Bangor University labs. Cameron will be supervised by professor Simon Middleburgh, co-director of the NFI.
